As an Educator, I have taught for and been a large part of the creation of the Theatre Arts Conservatory in Salt Lake City.
The conservatory has been a springboard for many young actors wanting to make their way into professional careers in the world of Film, and Stage Acting. I have had the pleasure of teaching techniques and theory from the theatrical greats like Constantin Stanislavski, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, Peter Brooks, Michael Shurtleff, etc, to children and young adults.
The school has seen amazing success and accolades for there work. There are multiple-division, multiple-category, repeat-champions at the Shakespeare Competition in Cedar City, Utah every year.
Several students, some of which I have had the pleasure of acting with, and some the pleasure of instructing – have moved on to great careers in acting and have worked on television shows like E.R. and the 11th Hour. One of our students was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Others still have attended schools like NYU, and worked with major playwrights like David Mamet.
I have done everything from curriculum and instruction, to production and performance.
Most importantly of all, I’ve been able to work with my dear friends – Kyle & Colleen Lewis – the people who have inspired me to chase my life as an artist.
